At this year’s annual meeting, we will discuss how the theory of change espoused by the FTF Innovation Labs translates into expected outcomes, as well as localization approaches, successes and opportunities for improvement, and what types of support structures are needed for effective scaling. We will also discuss the role of Innovation Labs in influencing policy and program design and supporting better decision-making, both within the context of the U.S. government as well as host country governments and other critical stakeholders within the agri-food systems space. Additionally, we will explore how the Labs are fostering global partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities to further their global reach and engagement.
The objective of the annual meeting is to bring together the USAID Bureau for Resilience, Environment and Food Security, BIFAD, FTF Innovation Labs, and their partners to share and discuss opportunities for engagement and collaboration across the Labs’ state-of-the-art findings in agriculture-led economic growth, food systems transformation, and nutritional well-being, thereby providing a local context to the global actions of the FTF Innovation Labs.
