Growing Futures: Agricultural Education from Kindergarten to College

October 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Webinar Description:

Join us for an insightful webinar exploring the vital role of agricultural education from 4-H programs to university extension initiatives. This event will feature two distinguished speakers: Jill Bramble, the President of the National 4-H Council, who will share how youth development programs cultivate leadership and practical skills in agriculture, and Dr. Bronaugh, the President of the 1890 Universities Foundation, who will discuss the Foundation’s efforts to enhance agricultural education at historically black colleges and universities.

Together, they will delve into how these educational pathways not only empower individuals but also strengthen communities and promote healthy lifestyles. Attendees will gain valuable insights into the collaborative efforts between K-12 programs and higher education and discover how these initiatives are shaping the future of agriculture and food systems.
