This webinar addresses two critical aspects of public health and nutrition: the impact of climate change on food security and crop nutrition, and enhancing nutrition, health, wellness, and quality of life through integrative approaches.
The webinar explores how environmental temperature changes affect crop yield, nutrient content, and the spread of foodborne and waterborne diseases. The presentation details the public health burden of these diseases and the complications added by global warming.
Additionally, it discusses the transformative impact of holistic strategies on well-being, examining how combining traditional nutrition with innovative wellness practices can improve health outcomes. The session provides a comprehensive overview of multidisciplinary approaches and the efforts by the Center of Excellence for Nutrition, Health, Wellness, and Quality of Life.
